Tradition

Once the first coin is dropped the money pot must be fed until full upon which it must be smashed whilst making a wish.  It is also customary to replace the pot and spend the money on "good things." The pots are sometimes used to house a candle or a plant once smashed. They bring good fortune. There is a fortune card inside each pot.

Backwoods Creations

Hand made by Brian Huber

A simple man's expression
of his love for trees

Spoon_Group_300.jpg

Brian Huber has spent the majority of his life outdoors in the woodlands of Ohio exploring the natural world.   His training as a botanist deepens his appreciation of the miracle of plant life. He has a special respect for trees and the beauty of the wood they produce.   Brian is a talented, self-taught artisan who chooses to harvest trees from his property that would otherwise be selected by natural processes, such as being overwhelmed by adjacent trees.   The chainsaw that he uses to cut the tree is the only modern power tool that the wood will see.   He then uses his collection of antique woodcarving tools to work the wood, bringing out the warm soft glow that lovers of natural wood items so admire.
